Google Analytics

I am using Firefox, there is a Greasemonley extension for it called "adblock". It allows you to block certain sites or parts of URLs - so you won't see many ads when surfing the net. I have blocked the google-analytics site completely and did not encounter any problems with ipernity.

Thanks for the advice, I'll set that up. First it was yahoo with flickr and now google and ipernity... when will they learn? most folks don't want this stuff...

GRRRRRRRRRR its doing it again, ipernity has almost stopped... much more of this and I am back to FLICKR!!!!! bloody GOOGLE

OK, installed "adblock plus", blocked google analyctics and the problem has gone instantly - advise everyone to do this.....

are the two of you working with Mac or PC? I am on a Mac and don't seem to have the problem.

I am running Firefox on a Windows PC, I installed Adblock to get rid of all the advertising and tracking junk.
It does not matter which platform you are using, the calls to sites like Google Analytics are part of the server side code that is delivered to your PC. Adblock just removes or prevents the calls.

Same as Paprikaplains here, PC and Firefox, although I do use other browsers as well.
