Es schneit

Unter weißem Schleier
schweigend liegt die Welt
Über starrem Weiher
spannt kein Himmelszelt

Nur weite weiße Leere
ein blindes Alles Nichts
Legt seine leichte Schwere
vor das Tor des Lichts

Doch unter weißen Lasten
blitzt es schwarz hervor
liegt in Winters Rasten
Und gibt ihm Kontur

Zweige, Äste, Bäume
malen uns ihr Bild
Zeigen ihre Träume
vom Land das allen gilt

Inspired by a discussion going on here (sorry german only) I've decided to ban the flashing and blinking or oversized pictures from my guestbook as well as I'll no more accept any awards or something ugly pictured in my comments. This may sound harsh but I've seen what this leads to on flickr.
I'm still glad for any comment or entry in my guestbook or any of my pictures. And I really appreciate each one of them. I just don't like this flashing and blinking stuff. So If your entry is deleted it is nothing personal but just the dislike of this.

Es ist jetzt möglich Bilder mit Picasa hochzuladen. Unter "Hochladen" wird erklärt, wie man einen Knopf zu Picasa 3 hinzufügen kann, der das ermöglicht.

Das finde ich Klasse!

Am Rand am Weg
ganz blass und dumpf
ein Schimmer nur
ganz schwach und stumpf

Fällt in mein Auge
spricht mich an
Zieht mich auf sich
in seinen Bann

Macht mich bücken
ich schaue hinein
und sehe Entzücken
im schwachen Schein

Es will mir was zeigen
und öffnet sich
ganz sachte nur
und denkt an mich

Es zeigt mir die Kälte
die tiefe Verletzung
schimmert gold in sich
bei leichter Benetzung

Das Glühen wird stärker
und hüllt mich mit ein
umfassend schließlich
die eigene Pein

Und größer und stärker
durchdringt und durchbricht
die eigene Mauer
mit gleißendem Licht

Um schließlich voll Stärke
voll Gold und voll Glanz
sich allen zu zeigen
mutig und ganz.

a glimmering glow
showing hardly a streak

It catches my eye
talking to me
Drawing me towards
it's own to be

Making me bow
take a look inside
seeing a joy
in the weakest of light

Craning to show me
and opening up
though hardly only
and thinking of me

It shows me the cold
how deep the cut
but glimmering gold
at slightest touch

the glowing grows
closing in on me
embracing at last
the pain that's within

growing bigger and stronger
pervading and breaking
the enclosing wall
with a bright intense light

to finally be
full of strength, gold and brightness
showing out towards all
being brave and complete
