Hi y'all,
I also have come from Flickr, but I'm still there for now. I have played with photography for a long time. I never really took the time to learn or understand photography until I retired eight years ago. With all of this I still have a lot to learn. The one thing that I have learned is that the camera and my eyes see things differently. There are some that will argue this point, and that's OK. My eyes along with my brain can process a much better image than a camera can. So I do use software to process my images, just like they did in the days of film (Darkroom). Some of the HDR photography is brilliantly done, and some is way over process. Most over processed images I do not like, I do in most cases like an image to look natural, "like as if you were looking through your eyes"...

I will turn 70 in Feb 2014, lots to learn, places to go (if money allows) before my age catches up with my ability to go places. Love flowers, landscapes, mountains and anything in between. .....
