Hello everybody!
We've just improved the Network and Explore pages.
The Network pages
Latest publications pages
- Latest docs, albums and posts published by your network are now more accurate.
- Several time frames are available.
- At last, you can choose to display 1 or 5 docs max by member.
The members list page
- Several filters are available (last added, last visited ...).
- Display the people you may know (those in relationship with your friends and family)!
You might want to add them to your network.
The Explore pages
- New layout for the main page, with a better content enhancement. We did our best to consider the various aspect ratios of photos.
- Same for the "What's hot" pages. Photos, Videos and Posts are displayed separately for a better reading.
And also..
- You can now choose between "Thumbnails" and "Details" view for albums.
Comments and suggestions are welcome. Give us your feedback.
Of course, we know your wishlist is long and you are still waiting for features such as collections or password access to albums. Be sure we are doing our best.

J'ai compris l'essentiel mais pas les petits détails et je ne vois toujours pas la possibilité d'empêcher à une personne que je n'ai pas mise volontairement dans mon réseau ou mes amis de voir mes images. N'importe qui peut s'inscrire sans poster d'image ni avoir de liste de contacts juste pour venir jouer les curieux sur nos galeries, voire "emprunter" des photos.
Je regrette que cette fonction ne nous soit pas proposée. Nous devrions avoir le droit de choisir QUI NOUS NE VOULONS PAS sur nos pages.

De cette manière la totalité de notre réseau peut voir et commenter et les gens venant de l'extérieur qui n'ont pas d'images dans leur galerie ni de contacts et sont là pour des raisons X ne peuvent pas accéder à notre travail.

En dehors de ce point précis, les modifs faites ce jour sont super et je les apprécie.

Ce serait bien en revanche d'avoir la possibilité d'écrire un article en plusieurs langue (càd faire la traduction nous-même).

It would be better if New explore page adds ipernity news spapce.
I know we can click "ipernity news" on the pull down menu but..
we no longer go back to the front page from iper logo.
So I think it would be much better if we can see the summary or titles of iper news on the explore page.

14 pages with pics and 12 pages with blog entries ... didn't have a closer look (as I usually do). that's too much for me.
but I like the new overview to my contacts pics ... and miss the button "you are their contact".
well, you have get used to it ... and you can't make happy everybody. :-)

2. hum... this is because the new algorithm takes in account who we should notice first. Someone who has already 3000+ contacts will like to notice the ones who consider him as a friend, family or a contact. This method, much more accurate than the previous one cannot include non-mutual relationships.

That's not really my idea of "keeping informed": The day only has 24 hours. I have some people I visit regularly, therefore I don't really need updates for their stream, but for the streams I DON'T visit regularly - like right now, while I'm on vacation.
So, as much as I like some of the new features, I also miss the information about people who have added me as a contact, without me adding them in return. Like Mona Lisa: I value my contacts, so my list by default has a maximum of 50 members. But I also like to be part of the community, and I like to be informed of what's going on.
At the moment, there are way too many clicks involved to see photos, blogs and videos, so I'm missing out on a lot of news. This also refers to the "what's hot" docs.
But I DO for instance like the fact that I now can rearrange the order of pictures in an album without having to open the doc manager first. Everything that involves less effort (clicks) is a plus for me. Thank you!

I have limited my contacts to 100 (less at the moment), because I like to take part in their work and my day has only got 24 hours. ... but time by time I used to look at the pics of people that obviously like my work. so ... I have to think it over. there will be a way to handle the new situation.

You might have missed a slight coding "error" in doing so, though.
When displaying pictures as "Thumbnails" (parameter r[view]=2) "}}}}}}" appears above the first row of photos.
Some superfluous closing brackets?
