I am now re-building my pc after a breakdown on last weekend. Lots of pics are lost and I hope I will be back soon...

ich hatte sogar mit True Image von Acronis ein Backup erstellt, dabei habe wohl `was falsch gemacht...:(

Ich wuerde eher zu einer verlaesslicheren Sicherungsmethode greif als die Fehlerquelle zu duplizieren. Eine externe Festplatte ist und bleibt kein sicheres Backup-Medium... auch nicht wenn es 2 sind.

wie sieht denn eine verlässliche Sicherungsmethode aus? Ich dachte eigendlich daran lediglich Daten(Foto´s, Texte, MP3, u.ä.) auf der externen Platte zu sichern, der Rest ist ersetzbar, Programme OS u.ä..

Ich hab' mir einen kleinen Server mit RAID5 zusammengebaut mit 4 x 320GiB Platten drin. Darauf sichere ich meine Daten. Da ist zwar auch kein Backup, weil ich dort versehentlich Daten loeschen kann, aber es ist zumindest 'ne halbwegs sichere Methode um die Daten zu halten.
