Oxygen is excellent...in fact oxygen is brilliant...I like it very much indeed and am sad I was such a cynical cow when everyone kept saying how much better I'd feel with prongs up my nose and a machine humming away...
Today was the first time in weeks I was able to wander round the supermarket having a chat to friends and remembering where everything was...and I came home and did some sewing, instead of collapsing in a soggy heap and forgetting to put the ice-cream in the freezer.
First thing in the morning 'ain't so good mind you...very breathless then, which is odd considering the machine is on all night...so it still takes me a good while to get going with the aid of the nebuliser and a couple of mugs of tea.
I haven't used the ambulant oxygen yet...there's a cylinder in the boot of the car in case I need it though.
It might not apply to anyone reading this but I learned from the Lung Foundation forum that if you have to use medical equipment in your home which needs to be stored in a separate room...i.e. spare bedroom...you can claim one month free from your Council/Property Tax...it's worth knowing and claiming if you're eligible. It's only in England and the North though...not the Republic...
Going to make a fresh fruit salad...the grapes are from India...all those air miles for a small bunch of fairly tasteless fruit...ought to have eaten one before I bought them.
