We went to the clay pipe place yesterday instead of the oldest 'pub...save that for another day. The clay pipe museum/shop is excellent and T and Reuben did find it interesting...the woman who runs it makes a clay pipe to show you how it's done, using equipment which is a hundred years old...and she knows a great deal about the history of their use and the history of the village...
But before that we had lunch at Gleeson's in Roscommon...that is a lovely place...the photo is of the courtyard at the front...all the little trees have wind chimes and the flower beds are gorgeous...T took the photos on her 'phone. It was warm and sunny although the forecast was for heavy rain which came to nought in the end...
I was fine most of the day but totally shattered when we came home...I think in future I need to use the ambulant oxygen when I'm out and not pretend I'm grand altogether.
The other oxygen...from the condenser...is working well. The machine is quiet enough and makes a soothing sort of lumpy noise when it's running but the tubing is awful short so I'm sort of tethered down between the desk and the settee...and it's easy enough to use it for sixteen hours a day...there's the evening and night time and a couple of hours in the morning.
Teresa has been a brick...she's cooked supper every night and that has saved Himself from struggling over feeding everyone with his limited skills!
Hopefully we'll go over the Ox mountains tomorrow to the coast...and I'll remember to take my camera...will even remember to charge the battery up first.
Forgive me if I'm not reading your updates or blogs...everyone keeps talking to me...or each other...and I can't concentrate very well...
