A gorgeous day of warm sunshine...Reuben mended the lawnmower and T and I sat outside and chatted...Himself was wielding the strimmer...he cut the clump of chives down and we knew immediately because the smell wafted over towards us...
T is making rhubarb crumble for pudding...the rhubarb has grown enormous this year...though quite why it has I don't know because we've never fed it or looked after it.
And last night...well...late afternoon actually...Malachi and Brendan turned up in two white vans and unloaded oxygen tanks and condensers and lengths of tubing and goodness knows what else...and it all works and it's feckin brilliant. They were very nice were Brendan and Malachi...very nice young men indeed who addressed all the instructions directly to T...presuming her to be my carer I suppose...not that I minded because anything remotely mechanical has me befuddled.
We're going to the clay pipe place tomorrow and then on to the oldest 'pub in Ireland...it probably isn't at all but it'll be worth a look...
