All that fuss I made...honestly I can be such a baby sometimes...went to the hospital for the dreaded breathing tests and had to walk about a mile down endless gloomy corridors before we found the right place. There are volunteers who know their way around and will go with you...but our lady became lost herself and had to keep asking...
I only did one test...breathing in and out into a machine before the nice woman told me to stop and have a little rest and said it would be hopeless doing anymore 'cos the results for that really simple part were plain awful and it was obvious I'd not be able for anything else...
She's given me a gadget to wear tonight in bed to measure the oxygen levels and heart rate...it's only a little thing that goes around the wrist...that has to go back on Saturday which means another trip up to Sligo...never mind...if it's reasonable weather we'll go on to the coast. Millie loves the beach though she's none too keen on getting her feet wet...
All the hawthorn is out around Sligo town...beautiful bright green everywhere and masses of clumps of primroses out at the sides of the road...it did all look lovely. Lambs as well...dozens of those...skipping about in the sunshine...
Fish and chips for supper tonight...it's rare treat for us...
