Another quiet week in our street...Paddy came and trimmed Christy and Henrys hooves...the old boys feet didn't need doing and can wait until next time...
Himself bought a big bale of straw from next door...we use it for bedding, though the donkeys like to eat it as well...
My fabric arrived this morning all the way from New York...it's almost too pretty to use and we went grocery shopping today and the shop was heaving.
Eileen packed all my stuff for me...and was muttering the while about being short staffed but she's a cheerful and friendly woman and she knows I struggle a bit so she always packs my groceries when she's about.
I bought a box of Black Magic chocolates for the Christmas and a bottle of Bushmills...in addition to the usual tea bags and so on. Potty Penny was at the meat counter buying her cats liver...a massive pack of shrink wrapped bloody stuff...no point in telling her it's too rich for her cats digestion...she'd not pay any heed.
Thirza and Mick were there as well...Thirza has dyed her hair bright purple and it looks really nice actually...and she looks much better in herself since they bought a little cottage...they'd lived in a van for many years before that you see...
Tiny little Tilly followed Himself halfway home before he realised and so he had to scoop her up and take her back...he left her with Nancy on the back door step...
And that is about it...I did say it's been a quiet week in our street.
