And another horrid grey day, but I was cheered up no end from watching a flash mob video Max has put on...when you go to her page to see it, look out for the little boy scrambling up a lamppost to do a bit of conducting...
Now, I've put a couple of photos on...they were going to be of all of the donkeys, but the poor old desktop had an attack of the vapours, so there's only a couple of them, but some of the November Day sale a couple of years ago...it took a grand total of twenty-five minutes to upload them! And then it decided to do a bit of updating...it had an awful tummy ache then from the effort and closed down in seconds...
Actually I really do need to sort my photos out...there are so many that are actually dreadful and heaven knows why I've bothered to keep them, and quite a few I'd totally forgotten about. Could have done that this afternoon but I was finishing off the bunting I've been making to hang inside my shed...which still is nameless...T and Reuben have decided on calling their shed The Lodge...
Lurking on a shelf somewhere is a tool for engraving onto wood...I buy those sort of things from Lidl's 'cos they're cheap and never seem to go wrong...touch wood. Maybe I could do a couple of signs to hang on chains...they'd rattle in the wind on dark nights and T would never go to bed for fear of ghosties...
Wendy has spent the afternoon driving up and down our street...well, she hasn't...Jamie has and Wendy was supervising. Most Irish country boys can drive the family car when they can reach the pedals...though Brian next door just stood up so his feet reached. He always delivered the Christmas cards on his own from the time he was about six...by twelve he was seeing just how quickly he could reach the cross-roads and do a hand brake turn to come back again.
Himself took the dogs as far as the river bridge for a walk and managed to avoid Henry who'd have probably brought up the subject of baby donkeys again...
And Eilis has started to bury little dog biscuits...then she stands over her secret spot and curls her lips up at Millie...Eilis eventually moves away and Millie dives in and digs up the biscuit and eats it...quite why they taste much nicer when covered in earth I honestly don't know.
We're going to have supper out of a packet tonight...I've discovered Birds Eye do cod steaks in a herby sauce and very nice they are too...so it'll be those and fried rice.
