My shed is here. It's up. It's totally brilliant.
It took Neil and Alan three hours with copious use of a fearsome looking nail -gun to put it together...make me a work-bench the full length of one of the longest walls...and he had some wood left-over, so put me a long shelf up as well...
It has an over-hanging roof, so I've somewhere to put hanging baskets and he can add a veranda/porch at a later date. As that would be a luxury rather than essential, I'll save up for it. Would be excellent for my pots of herbs to sit on...
Now I'm as tired as I would have been had I done all the work...we've just put a few odds and ends inside and Himself has done the leccky...loads more shelves to go up, but I'm painting them first with that quick drying paint, so I won't have to wait too long to arrange everything!
And it has a stable door so I can keep the dogs out if I wish...though Millie and Eilis are no trouble actually and they are the two who want to always be with me.
My Buddhist prayer flags fell to bits after being in the garden for years ...I'm thinking to get some more to string between the trees around the shed...painting the inside can wait now until the Spring and the wood has been pressure treated so the outside will be grand for the Winter.
I'll need to delve into the freezer and see if there's anything for supper...
