This is the second post in an irregular series in which I ask for you comments on one of my images. Constructive criticism and opinion are not only welcome, they are actively sought. Please let me know your thoughts.
I took this image while sitting in the grandstand at Sandown Race Course waiting for the next car race to start (Sandown has both a car and horse track). It is a photo of the top of the Judges’ box on the horse track against the sky.
I have always been inspired by the paintings of Australian artist Jeffrey Smart and thought I could make an image that looked a little like his style. I liked the square shape and sharp lines of the tower against the blue sky. The clouds seemed to nicely fill the frame too.
The image has obviously been cropped (I don’t have a panoramic camera) and some other post processing has been done too.
So fellow ipernity members, what do you have to say?
