Canon EOS 50D

It's kind of hard to belive!!!

i have the 40D and i will buy me the new one hehe canon forever

So I finally know what to wait for...even if only half of this would be true !!

Just in time – at the moment I think about buying the 40D but maybe I'm gonna wait some weeks more.

That Canon 50D cost mega bucks! I like it nevertheless or am I thinking of the 5D? Anyhow they are great cameras. I am looking to upgrade myself. Soon every time I save money, me spend it up! ;( My Sony is getting played out. haha.

I think Canon is making the wrong move... updating the still perfect 40D while ignoring all the desperate cries from 5D owners for an upgrade which is much more due to an improvement (in usability mostly) than the xxD series.

15 Mpix on the same sensor = worse pictures. Canon seems to follow the marketing way, not the "good pictures way"...

compare it with the D700 with 12Mpix. or the D300 also with 12Mpix. Sorry, but the Canon 50D looses.

yes i think the 40D is a better one... because 40D is a hidden legend... like the 30D

Hey guys, you haven't seen the camera yet. I guess canon is just warming up for the new xD series and above... As far as I read on the specs there is loads of new stuff packed in there and that wants to be field-tested before selling it to the real pro folks ;-))

YES, on the PMA 2010 in Las Vegas,
18 months after the birth of the 50D we will see a follow up as the 60D (no tech specs yet :-)

I bought the 40D now. Maybe I'll switch to the 50D if it's out on the market a couple of months.

why ? you have a good camera... you think you will make better pictures with the new one ? LOL... better you buy a better lense for the money...

Okay, which lens do you suggest?

Seriously: I'm sure to take my pictures in better quality with the 40D. I know that the 350D is a good camera but sometimes I reach the edges of image quality, noise and display of color – especially at stage shows, concerts etc. Also the AF is a problem sometimes. I'm not sure if a better lens could correct this. Whatever, I bought the 40D along with a Canon EF 50mm f/1.4.


And yes: I'll also buy better lenses over the time, of course. To make better pictures. (…)

yes but you can not compare a 350D with a 40D... it s a joke... and the 50D will be sure a upgrade but i think not in this frame to set me to buy it... so try the L lense series...

I want one :)) Gotta save some money :((
