Pretty similar to the D300(s), except for higher pixel count

I wonder what the image quality with even the best lenses will be. My experience based on the 50D with consumer grade lenses is that the sensor shows lens flaws clearly. Even my Sigma 105mm Macro is not able to deliver the quality required by the sensor. So what are the 3 extra MP worth? A new selling argument for L lenses?

That's something to think about. The lens flaws will thus be magnified even more in the 7D.

and with the G11 I thought they finally got the hang of it...
