Curious about the API? [EDITED 18.Oct.08]

amazing tool, and interesting for a lot of people here, but how to install ??
oops I mean how to instal it in human language

I wrote this and the previous script only to test API capabilities (and my residual capabilities as a programmer).
This isn't intended as a tool to be redistributed: if all Ipernity users start to make the quantity of calls needed to generate this image, I suppose this can bring Ipernity down on its knees :-))))
This is intended to let you know the kind of informations we can extract in minutes using the API.
The API isn't intended to be used by not-programmers; regular users will take advantage of the desktop applications, web applications, scripts and plugins that programmers are writing using the API.
As an example of forthcoming applications:
- direct upload to Ipernity from Adobe Lightroom or FSpot
- interaction with Ipernity using the Flock web browser
- Wordpress plugins to integrate Ipernity-based shots
- Joomla/Drupal/PhpNuke blocks and modules with direct connection with your Ipernity streams
- integration with other websites, as MySpace, Imagekind, Moo, ...

ora sto scrivendo una specie di framework php/mootools/IperAPI, appena finisco, inizio a fare i vari moduli.

wahouuu je suis flatté d'etre dans les statistiques avec une photo déposée à 19h ! ;-)
statistiques faites à partir de combien de profils ?

c'est la totalité des photos publiques téléchargées dans les 24h avant l'execution du script (approx. dès 20h de hier à 20h d'aujourd'hui, mais il faut considerer qu'il a employé presque une demi heure...)

je n'ose meme pas imaginer les compétences qu'il faut avoir pour mettre en place ce genre de chose...

J'ai commencé écrire de logiciels dès plus de 25 ans, mais por faire cette chose il ne faut pas avoir de grandes compétences: un premier cours scolaire d'informatique suffirait...

Hey.. I have a problem. When i use "doc.get"... all the date works just fine, except the geo location (lat and lng). It doesn't show me anything... do you know something ?

I tested it in the 'Live try' with an Ipernity/Google geotagged shot: no result using the extra=geo parameter.
Perhaps it is a bug o perhaps it is related to the exif/iptc geotags and not to the Ipernity/Google one: report it in the API development group
