A Terabyte Free

Flickr is now giving Free members a terabyte of space to store, download and show photos for free. Pro members get unlimited space. This is fantastic news for all users. Imagine a terabyte of storage on your phone or tablet and plenty of good Apps to share your photos. Bad news for Ipernity who have now stopped free members from downloading their posts and increased their price for pro (Club) membership.
Spring

After a long winter it is now one of the best times of Year for Nature and wildlife photos. Spring is here and the birds are singing. I love this time of the Year because there isn't too much undergrowth and it is easy to see and photograph everything. Of course this time of the Year is also a great time for ALL other photo interests. I just want to get that shutter clicking!

Update 30 March. I have now just traded in my Panasonic G1 (31K clicks) for a G2. Almost the same camera but New. French Privacy law is very strict here is a link to one of the most famous examples of a court case involving it. Please note the mention of Private property. http://www.abc.net.au/news/newsitems/200602/s1576295.htm I can find no other case being brought against a photographer or publisher since this 2006 appeal court ruling.

The lights are still on but there is nobody here !!! Is Ipernity finished? Have Ipernity commited suicide? It seems very few people are posting photos. Those who do seem to get suspended. Those who get suspended don't bother to come back. There are no regular viewers, just a few visitors Most of the groups now have no active managment. Street photos

Note all my candid shots which may show the subject face are taken in public places and the subject is aware I am taking photos. I have a second FUN Street photography gallery here on Ipernity which has the girl shots on it. Photography should be fun and I have no problem with taking fun photos and viewing those taken by others. I believe one should take photos that many enjoy viewing.
