I wasn't going to post another update to my blog until I finished the half-stitching on Butterfly & Daisies. But...on Monday, I ended up getting the thread from Dimensions that I ran out of. That was a really short three to four weeks! I guess because it was only one colour, it was put in a small package and that was able to get through quicker. Either that or the US and Canadian postal systems are already in full gear for the holiday mail rush. :o) Anyway, I am really close to being half done of the half stitching and will doing the missing crosstitches with the replacement thread when I get to them.

I mentioned to someone in one of my groups that I would add some pictures (or maybe only one) of the Tranquil Dreams canvaswork piece that I did. This pattern was designed by Carolyn Mitchell and the colours were chosen by a lady at my LNS (local needlework shop) based on my suggestions of using green, blue, pink and/or purple.

I didn't think that I would like the colours that she chose when I first saw them, but fell in love with them as the piece came together. I had the opportunity to show the completed piece to her in the spring, which she really enjoyed. The pictures for the piece as Carolyn designed it and my version are

Anyway, I think that is it for now. Hope you enjoy!
