feet on the beach

I've been gone for a little holiday. And back again. It took me a while, a week and a half to be precise, to recover from the sun, warmth, great food, very good wine and really friendly people, asthonishly beautiful abandoned beaches and pure simplicity. Ofcourse the camera went with me, but the pics do a little justice to the peaceful time we had on Lefkada. It was great and exactly what I needed to get my head cleared from all superfluous garbage tumbling inside it.

And now... let's get busy, busy, busy

against censorsship

Some of you may have noticed I have a fancy "Pro"-ikon right now flashing above my username.
Flickr - in all its wisdom - sent me a reminder to do so. With alarmingly big fonts it stated: "YOU HAVE 1 DAY LEFT ON YOUR PRO-ACCOUNT !!!!".

So I bought myself a pro-account on *this* magnificent piece of software. Finally I shall see some excellent works of art in a proper size.
And ofcourse, those brilliant (and brave) developers who gave us this beautiful community deserve all the credits they need.

OK then, let's explore!

 

Grand Italy

It's insane how quick the human mind adopts a new situation. I mean, it's now a week-and-a-half

ago since I returned from my holdidays in the Dolomites. A trip I longed for for several months.
And it's almost completely gone, lost, banned to a corner of my mind. Destined to be just a bundle of incomplete memories.

It ain't fair, now is it? It's grey outside, it's raining cats and dogs and lots of people are not happy with it. Probably wondering, just like me, what the hell happened to those slow sunny days and beautiful hills, great wines and lovely pastas.
I took some photographs, ofcourse. Little snapshots, pieces of memories. Nothing more, nothing less.

But I have to hurry now.

Summer in the field I

The latest pics I've uploaded are extremely bright and colorful.

Almost happy I might add, very... ehr... not me. I blame the weather. It was autumn all the time, and then finally, in a weekend, with nothing else to do there was sunshine. A vast blue sky without any clouds took me by suprise. There was joy in my heart and I went for a walk.

The pics are, well, peaceful and lovely and tender. And a bit boring to be honest. Give me drama and quickly please before I start to whistle the tune from the Sound of Music!

Like many others I'm seeking a new kingdom to share my creative consciousness.
Away from *you know where*. Is this the place? Is it?
I allready found some new friends here and refound some old ones. And I even found those who were never lost in the first place.

So this might be it. Let's see.
