Subkonsciaj antaŭjuĝoj kaj rasismo / Unconscious prejudice and racism

Lastatempe ekdormonte mi legas (verdire aŭskultas) la libron Blink de Malcom Gladwell: http://www.gladwell.com/blink/. En tiu libro oni i.a. parolas pri subkonsciaj asociadoj, kiujn oni povas malkovri per IAT testoj. La plej konata testo temas pri rasismo. Mi jam provis unufoje trinkinte iom da vino antaŭe. Mi hontas pri la rezulto kaj ne komprenas ĝin, ĉar konscie mi multe ŝatas negruloj (kreintoj de ĵazo ktp.). Eble dependas de la sinsekvo de testeroj - une mi ne bone atentis kaj poste pliboniĝis. Mi certe reprovos morgaŭ tute sobra.

Recently before falling asleep I read (well, listen to) the book Blink by Malcom Gladwell: http://www.gladwell.com/blink/. In this book he talks among others about unconscious snap judgements and associations, which can be revealed using so called IAT test. The most famous one deals with unconscious rasism. Let's try:

I have tried once after drinking some wine and I am really ashamed about the result. Even though I do not consciously associate afro-amaricans with weapons (in fact the otherway round - I realize that mainly white americans are proud of their right to posses a weapon) and admire e.g. black jazz musicians, the result proved this strong unconscious association. Well, now I can blame the order of test's parts - in the beginning (when cathegorizing harmless objects with black people) I was very distracted and slow and then I got better when the cathegories switched, but I am afraid of tomorow, when I will retake the test while beeing completely sober and concentrated from the very beginning.
