Photo's color space on Ipernity

Wednesday May 14, 2008 at 11:02PM

Today i was wondering the pictures I uploaded were sort of "yellowish" compared to my orginal picture as the example bellow shows it.

wtf

So i looked and tried many uploads with different sizes and different tools (from ipernity upload page, iperUpload,...) and all my jpegs were messed up on the color.

Then i looked again why that would happens and I finally got it.

When i take my picture I use Lightroom and it exports my raw photos by default in ProPhotoRVB color space which does not seems to be well managed by Ipernity. If I set the color space to sRVB ten the picture get the same color on Ipernity and on my computer.

See below the two samples:

Problem solved. It's Firefox and IE that do not handle correctly ProPhotoRVB color space.
The file is still correct but both browsers can't display it correctly.
