Vertaling uit het Esperanto van een artikel van een Iraans ipernity-lid.

Haar naam was Neda
vol leven
vol hoop
Ze was Iranese
Ze stemde
Maar haar stem werd gestolen
Op straat zocht ze naar haar verloren stembiljet
Ze vond alleen een kogel.

...

Velen zoals Neda zoeken nu een stukje leven in die staat die Iran heet.

Kijkt ze nu in de hoogte naar een beter leven? Ze was 25 jaar, vol levenskracht. Haar hoofd vol dromen, haar hart vol liefde. Haar schuld was haar stem te zoeken. Cynisch, "Neda" betekent "stem".
