there is a book of robert graves that called king jesus, do you know it ?

No, I don't know it ... tell me more about it :-)

the book is very big to summarize it now. is an alternative view to the life of jesus. (this is enough i think)
And i 'm pointing this because I agree with you to the subconscious part

Robert Graves is the author of "I claudius" ( there is a superb !!!!! BBC tv series based on this book) also famous books of him is "Count Belisarius", "Hercules my Shipmate". But I think that he is famous because of his work "Greek Myths" and also "Hebrew Myths" .

The great thing here is that... the guy tries to explain with a logical way the myths and of course the "jesus myth". The key for him is not the zodiac and so on ( which seems to my eyes quite reasonable - i am talking about the documentary ) but the passage from matriarchal societies to paternal. ( think of Crete is a very good example !)
To tell you the truth the "King Jesus" is quite boring book , but gives this alternative and almost sarcastic view of " The greatest story ever told" in a reasonable way ( of course under the assumption I mentioned above)

If you haven't seen the BBC tv series , please do it... you will not regret it.

Thank you very much Vassilis! Very interesting ... when I have some time I will check this out ... it is very impressive for me the relation that humans have with truth ... I will think better of this and maybe write another post with my own thoughts ...

Amazing! This is probably the most important piece of film I have ever seen. The only point I have to make here is 'GOD is everything' even down to the micro dust. We are god's look at us in our creative explosions ;-) hehhehe It just the humanisation of the word GOD I can’t get over, for thousands of years man has, predominantly the white man has killed in the name of this man made GOD. But in fact Jesus only ever gave us on commandment ‘Love one another in the way that I have loved you’ if only we were capable of love in the way they write it.
