I have just uploaded another bunch of Mardin photos. Tomorrow I am flying to Gümüşlük, Bodrum. I'll continue to upload from there, so be ready or expect nice beach photos on my stream.

i have uploaded new photos from around mardin but i don't have the time and energy of organizing them at the moment. there are photos without proper alignment or there are photos that are seemingly duplicate.

i had to share them anyway :)

I'm in Mardin since Monday. So my latest photos are and will be from around Mardin for a while. Mardin is on the Syria border. It's really, really hot.

By the way, Nicole, see that I am getting closer to you :) It is not less than 40C here.

I have been drinking white wine with my love.

Then suddenly it came to my mind that I have not uploaded my favorite songs to Ipernity. There was only two sound files among my documents. At the moment, I am uploading a couple of songs and I dedicate them to my love.

Well, that's it. A brief description about what to do with ipernity when you are drunk.

Having said that, I have to tell you that it is not always easy to tell that I am drunk when I am.

That's what my friends say.

Only my close friends are able to tell it. Anyway, no need for anyone to tell when I am the one who tell it.

Therefore, I am shooting all my photos with my phone's camera. It has good results under the sun but not under weak light.

I am not a professional photographer (and not an advanced amateur) anyway.

I've just noticed that you can add sets to your faves too. This was something I would like to have in Flickr. I am glad that Ipernity is much more usable than other web sites I previously used.

Just a quick note to tell this.

It was raining on and off yesterday and it continues today. That made us all relax here in Istanbul. Otherwise, the warm weather was depressing. I like summers anyway, they are far more bearable than winter, especially psychologically. But this is personal most probably.

I was surprized that my post about mayan calendar the other day draw more interest than my other posts. I am pleased that so much people are interested in the calendar. Now I wonder how many people believe to the evolutionary process along with that.

It is 1:40pm here in Istanbul and it has only been 1 hour since I woke-up. It looks like a nice saturday. This marks also the 1st anniversary of my relationship with Goddess Artemis.

I would like to know if there are any Ipernity member who blogs regularly. I have a few blogs right now. I use WordPress and I am content with it.

I don't use any kind of Windows OS on my computers since 2005. I only use a virtual machine time to time in order to test my layouts for the web on Internet Explorer.

I am very proud and pleased with Ubuntu. I have also used Fedora and SUSE in the past.

So, just a quick note to let you now that I can assist anybody with some basics if you like to switch.

On Sunday, I was in the Presbyterian Church in Moda, Istanbul. I made a couple of videos and photos, I will now upload them.

The concert was worth listening to.

It was a very hot they here in Istanbul. It was above 40 C for most of the day. Authorities tell that tomorrow will be warmer (Nicole, I know what you will say!).

Ipernity is getting warmer too. I find ipernity more sincere than flickr. The community here is evenly distrubuted among continents. No US dominance and that's very balanced.

That motivates me to post more docs here.

I've finally started to write more to my blog.

21st of June was the summer solstice for nothern hemisphere (and winter solstice for southern, of course).

Solstices are believed to be sacred events.

The famous end of the Mayan long count is also a solstice on 21st of December, 2012.

It's nice to have the longest day.

I have moved my personal blog in English to a different address. In fact this is not a movement. I wanted to start anew.

I wish I knew french. I love the community on ipernity but the majority speak french. I am familiar with foreign languages. I can speak english and german. I am eager to learn french. The problem is I have to learn it on my own. I don't have the time to go to a french course but I have enough online time to pay effort on that.

I have noticed that there is a decrease in quality of the thumbnails on Ipernity which made Ipernity's home page load faster.

I like this solution. It's better than having to wait for high quality thumbs and icons. I am able to click for the high quality pictures anyway.
