Have you ever read this novel?
This is sad, beautiful work and feel deep emotion.
One weekend of this month,I saw him in the island which is locatied near my place to live.Actually I was quite far away from him and hard to get closer..(Windy, Windy..so dengerouse to walk in...Wonder how the young couple got there?) He looks young but already reached at the retirement age. Inspipte of more safe places for drawing, but he was there. It remind of me "The OLD MAN and THE SEA"

I read this long time ago, too.
It felt me sad at that time.
At the end, his capture (big fish) he got was eaten by a shark.
It means the shark ate up whole his dream which kept him absorbed in for ages.
But....think it positive,I mean the ending, it stopped him going to more dengerous adventure.
He gets old every day but his mind stays same point as he was a boy, and this boy is addicted to big fish. Anyway this novel is wonderful!
