yap! :-) I live in a town 30km away of Barcelona and work in the outer part of the city. So c.u. when you come here!

For me, Barcelona reminds of me Santa Barbara,US.(West side coast of US and I've been there once)
Especially the last 3 images make me feel so.
What do you think?

Oh, dear I nearly haven't travelled anywhere in my life, I cannot compare Barcelona... Most cities have their own personality and with two thousand years of history I guess is easier to be different to any other place. There're a lot of things to enjoy and to hate but if you come as a tourist, for some days, I'm sure you'll enjoy it ;-)

ps: Santa Barbara looks great, but I think they're quite different animals ;-)

I am not sure what people are there. But...they have no nice football club so I won't intend to stay longer...hahahaha

What transportaion do you recommend me from Plat air port to the city area?
Plat air port is located ..kind of the village,isn't it?

Sure! You can catch a taxi (it'll be horribly expensive), the aerobus (quite expensive, too, around 13€) or the shining regular buses (lines 46 or 109) that will transport you to the Plaça Espanya (in the center of BCN) in less than a half of hour and for 1.2 euros ;-)

oh, at first I though the light train (the two lines of the Tram) would be a waste of resources but I must admit I was wrong: they're very comfortable and as far as I know, they produce very low pollution. But the lines are really short, mostly oriented to connect the people than (like my father&mother) live in the smalls cities around bcn. But you can use it to come from L'Illa shopping center to my workplace :-)
