PHOTOSHOP is my favorite graphic tool produced by Adobe Systems.
It really fits my needs and requests.
Changing picture resolution, Level colour and colour
adjusting, and effective filters and texture.
I am sure that this software is the best tool which makes our photo more attractive and creative.
But..
It is kind of expensive and It is the best for printed, but
not for WEB site.
I found another tool.
APERTURE 1.5 Apple produced.
Here is a gallery with using this software.(Amazing!!!!)
Photo is sooo wonderful and how to show is splendid!!
STANMEYER
LAFORET
WINTER
FRAKES
Quaked by apple.com
Much easier than Photoshop and less expensive.
The price is one third of Photoshop.
But...
It works in MacOS X (10.1.10.) not for Windows and I don't think it less diversity in complicated picture processing and retouch work.
I believe personally, there is no software in the world
which superior to Photoshop in image processing.
Aperture makes it possible to do what photographer wants.

in Windows OS there is an equivalence for Aperture on Mac OS : Corel PaintShopPro PhotoX2
Going to the most used tools, userfriendly, a good and clear manual (on/offline),regulary updates, lightroom, and last but not least : an very nice low price

YES!! It is no doubt about that!
Paintshop Pro(Corel) is also good tool,I guess.(Actually I haven't used it yet).
So do you think Paintshop Pro PhotoX2 is going to be most friendly tool for amateur
photographer?
Although I see many beautiful photos here, which tool they use most??
Danypro replies:
I'm not going to compare , only give you a constat : several pro-boys in our lay-out lab did the compare test.
The result was simple and significant : all of them are using now (for private purpose) Paintshop instead The Gimp.....which means they bought it at their own charge.

It is always primary reason people want to get and use.
We know every efficiant free tool has a limit, too.
Charged tool enablea many demands of users.
So tool with low price might be kind of the best choice.
Because every effective and expensive camera doesn't cover all effects of image tool and photographer has to get something with adjustment soon or later.
Dirkpro says:
Sorry for becoming ideological, but for me it’s easy: Photoshop is a hyped, overpriced, commercial photo editing software sold by a hyped company, and The Gimp is a distinguished piece of well-programed free and open source software.
(And please stop bitching about die lack of CMYK support, unless you know what it is about and why you DON’T need it, if you’re not in printing-business. At least, gimp already HAS such support since a few versions.)
eeeerm, and for resizing, cropping, color enhancement and such things no one needs software, that costs more than the average earnings (per month) of an ordinary worker.

The Gimp. It is nice! Easy to understand.
and...it is FREEEEEEE!!!!!!
About the lack of CMYK support, it doesn't matter if we just show our shots on the net.
Most of free softwares I've seen are NOT easy to understand here(in Japan)
We can't see the details unless we install them and try to use them well.
So taking free or share softwares make me feel awkward.
...and I buy something new and easy -:))))))
Thanks for your information!

Dirkpro replies:
Another argument is the functionality of Photoshop. Same here as with CMYK: Those, who complain most about Gimp’s structure and functionality, and say, that they could not life without Photoshop’s functionality could do thier photo editing work even with MS Paint.
Of course, different photo editing software has similar tools to do the same things. Booth programs allow you to crop, resize, clone, work with layers, adjust color settings, apply filters, and so on, but the tools a not the same. It’s like vegetables: Take a potato and a cucumber. Booth are vegetables, but would you compare them? And now take Photoshop and The Gimp, booth are image editing tools, the tools are made for the same purpose, but you can’t compare them too.
And of course you can call me Dick, if you’re comfortable with it ;)

Hi, Dick.
Perhaps it is not so important to talk about which tool to use.
This time I 'd like to say it deserves to see how apple and photographer show their photo with using their tool well.
I thought if we could show our photo more attracive (Maximum) with reasonable tool?
If it would be possible, I am sure we can shoot more beautiful photo with regular camera.(not DSLR)
Question:
High Quality Camera(or lens) + Low Quality regular Software = A
Low Quality Camera + High Quality Software(low cost) = A'
If A = A', I bet more people take the second.

Dirkpro replies:
I don’t need a nicely designed bling-bling editing interface with realtime effects, a simple toolbox fulfills my needs. Other people want such interfaces. There is a market for anything :)

Ahhhhhhh!!! very SORYYYYY!!!!
(You could say something...when I call you with wrong name...maybe you are kind.)
And I have a coment to you and write later-:))
>Anoher question: What defines “High Quality Software”?
My answer is .."Please imagine when you choose a new car"
More expensive car sometimes doesn't fit our needs.(inconvenience in the countryside, long time to waite fixing it)
Lower price and used car has sometimes problems.
"High Quality Software" is a tool which really fits our needs.
