Was möchten Sie gern in Berlin sehen?

Sunday August 30, 2009 at 01:17PM

Maybe I should have said "Was empfehlen Sie mir?" as the title ;-) Anyway..
Yes! I am going to Berlin next month, that I have failed 2-3 times so far due to my job.
But..this time I'll never miss it. This time one of iper friend and his brother would help me walk arond there but still I have one free day so I have to make a plan by myself.

Where should I go?

Do you have any suggestions to me?

Humm...many places to choose from.. What is famous in Berlin? Branden Tor, Beliner Mauer, Tiergarten, Reichstagsgebäude, Neue Wache, Jüden Europas...Maybe we will visit these places. Curious to see other places..

i had a lovely time in the East. all the young entrepeneurship was very exciting to me. i managed quite well on my own in spite of not speaking German. i didn't go without anything. enjoy!

i stayed at Park Inn Berlin Alexanderplatz. great location and lovely hotel!

Inn Berlin Alexanderplatz ...in Mitte, maybe? It must be very modern.
Mitte seems to be fun to walk. I'll mark it.
I am supposed to stay in the west, I've checked the neighborhood, nothing special. But I think I could get there by U-bahn soon.

Thanks, Josie.

mitte, keuzberg, prenzlauer berg, friedrichshain are parts of berlin i do enjoy, i used to walk around here normally, but i think for a visitor it's fun to rent a bike, to make your own tour. per day it costs 12€ or something. you can rent here for example. when i visit other places, i love to walk around and explore, without knowing about it :)

I once made a sightseeingtour by boat (http://www.sternundkreis.de/English/english.html) with friends, there you get a different view of the city.
