Snapshooting

Monday July 16, 2007 at 02:30AM

Yesterday was the first day in quite a while that I was motivated enough to go and get some of the shots I wanted to since a while.

After that nice coffee morning, Jane dropped me off at the bank at Al Kout mall and I thought to myself "Heck, it's not THAT warm today (only around 46 Celsius...) and there's a blue sky. Let's do it" So I went around the mall, which at that time of the day (close to noon) is almost deserted.

And I got a few of them shots, I wanted

Here's one of them, ground floor with the fountains (yes, I know, it's even nicer with the fountains on, but hey, one step after another, alright) and some Restaurants:

And one of the Best Panoramas I've made so far .

Edit: The panorama will probably be hanging in my local print studio soon - yeah

only around 46 Celsius...

*Faints*

I'm used to warm/hot weather in Australia, but that is just ridiculous. I think I will have a cool drink right now.

It looks like meeting those interesting women fired up your creativity - you have some great shots there.

I do think you're lucky to have the chance to experience different cutures with your travelling around, but 46 degrees. Ouf! That's a high a price to pay.

And that's cold for this time of year ;)
The wind cools it off a bit. Brings dust too, but I rather have it like this (being at the ocean has the advantage of not having so much dust when it's windy and being cooler ;)

Yes, it seems to have given me a spark again.
Already after meeting Jane last Sunday (the week before this), helped me get moving again in regards to selling my cards. I didn't make a fortune, but I started again, have people calling me for small appointments and sales, so it works :)
Have had some interesting talks with shop owners about selling my stuff in their stationary shop, when printed different, etc. :)

Hey Nicole, that's really good news. Hope you continue to do well selling your work.
