So, I changed my user name from mardus to needus. I also I let the kind Ipernity people change my ipernity address, which is now http://www.ipernity.com/home/needus .
I use the name "needus" almost everywhere now, though English speaking people might think: why name "need us"? Who's that "us" to "need" or something...? Well actually this name is a word in my country's (Estonian) language meaning a curse, damnation, malediction, malison, perdition or jinx. And I like it.
Just to let you know :)
Take care,
needus

What did Mardus mean?
needus replies:
In Estonian folklore (I am from Estonia and Estonian), mardus means a certain ghost -- a ghost of someone that is not dead. It was believed that human soul can leave the body for a while (like when a person sleeps). But if mardus is seen -- a ghost of someone who is not dead or can not be there where mardus is seen (mardus may have been mistaken for a real person) -- it was believed that this person who's mardus it was will soon die.
Spooky stories, heh :) I did like the name but we also have a boy name Margus, and I didn't like that connection :D I also have registered many places with needus username, and I like to be known for one (or few) names. Unfortunately, I'm one of those people who like changing pseudonyms too much... Oh well, maybe I some time come back to this mardus, who knows :)
Thanks for being interested, euchrid!
Tiina aka mardus aka needus :)
