Street photography, my little show

Tuesday October 9, 2007 at 02:03PM
"Street photography is a type of documentary photography that usually features people in candid situations in public places such as streets, parks, beaches, malls, political conventions, and other settings." ...more

After one year of taking photos, I discovered what type photos I almost take, "STREET PHOTOGRAPHY", I just love to make unique shots, where the people are the main subject, sometimes with little irony.

Anyway I am not going to make it so long and I will show you some of my works and I hope that you will like it.

Please feel free to write your comments, suggestions or critiques, it's really important for me to know what the others say about my photos, because in general I am beginner on photography.

Most of my shots are taken with Leica M6 and Summicron M f:2 35mm, I love to use high speed films, like Ilford HP5+ and Kodak TRI-X 400. I use both colour and b&w films, but I prefer the black and white.

That all what I wanted to say. and how I leave you with the photos

Black and white

if ur a beginner at photography then i'm an absolute moron at working a camera (which i very well may be, lol!)... anyway, what i mean to say is that ur shots are really wonderful and i really can't find a flaw in any of them... in the one 4th from the bottom there is a lot of noise but i really think that adds to the feel of the shot, really great work.. i also really enjoy ur black and whites, they really have a great feel to them... u really get great results with that leica... i don't think it is me who should be critiquing u but u who should be critiquing me... which, btw, please do XD... overall great work! i really like the first shot too with all the people and a sea of heads... very very nice.... XD

Thank you for another good photo reportage. I like what you say, that after some time one figure out, perhaps not consciously, what one prefer to take pictures of. I like your street shots, many of them manage to tell a whole story in that little frame a picture has. I think that's quite impressive and I think its must be difficult to take these candid photos ... its easier perhaps with objects, as I do.

And If you want to please join the critique group www.ipernity.com/group/25562 ... as some other groups its still a bit quiet but we'll get there ;) Cheers, and thanks for sharing. Looking forward to more.
