Not the sort of day for walking or gardening today,it's cold and windy with a hint of rain in the air.
Instead I started clearing the junk around the old shed,I took the saw to some all batons and bagged and binned them and Allan got rid of some shelving for me by loading his daughters car and telling her to take it to the tip which she willingly did, she's a good girl Anna. Being our neighbour her and Ellen grew up together and are still friends although they have both taken differing paths in life.
It was while I was passing the shelving over the garden wall that I noticed a very strange plant and I have no idea what it is or how big it will get,at the moment it is about 18" high and growing fast after the recent rain.

Tomorrow I will open the shed for the first time in a couple of years and see what is in there, that's if it doesn't fall round my ears. As you can see there is still a lot to get rid of but with the council wanting silly money to send a flatback and a couple of men it will be broken up and done in stages. Metal is no problem a scrap man passes every week and collects whatever I leave out.The rest will be a mixture of folk heading for the tip I can stow a little with and Anna. The shed will need little knocking apart as you can see. 40 years this close to the sea has taken it's toll. Then there is the jungle behind it to sort, but I'll get there I always do.
