~9 months have passed since I last uploaded new stuff. Just didn't find time to take as many pictures as I'm used to (and to publish them here). Hopefully, this will change from now on .

I'll start to upload some of the few images that I've been taken so far.

Our local airport in Luxembourg is going to get a new terminal building because the old one probably got too small, I think. After 4 years, the construction is now complete and it will be opened on May, 21st. Google maps still shows a parking place there at the moment ;-)

This weekend, the airport society arranged an open day so I had the chance to take some pictures.

Unser lokaler Flughafen in Luxembourg bekommt ein neues Terminalgebäude, weil das alte warscheinlich ein bischen klein geworden ist. Nach einer Bauzeit von 4 Jahren wird das Gebäude am 21. Mai in Betrieb genommen. Auf Google Maps sieht man derzeit noch einen Parkplatz ;-)

Dieses Wochenende hat die Flughafengesellschaft einen Tag der offenen Tür veranstaltet und so hatte ich die Chance, ein paar Bilder zu machen.

I can't resist posting a blog entry for one of my all time favourite songs. I saw the band performing live here in Luxembourg in October this year. Great show, great music... they’re really nice guys from Scotland .

Although this song is already 8 years old, I still listen to it every now and then. Not sure what I like the most about it. The lyrics, arrangement but also the video seem to be perfect to me. Have a look yourself…

As I mentioned here, I also took pictures of my nephew's trumpet and here are my 3 favourite ones. Again, feel free to add comments and please tell me which one you like the most (if possible, with the reason for your selection).

Yesterday evening, I've taken some pictures of my brother's and nephew's instruments (saxophone, trumpet,...). Here are my favourite takes of the saxophone. Hope you'll like them. Feel free to add comments, especially if you think there is room for improvements. It would be nice, if you could tell me which one you like the most.

Yes, it's Friday... and even better: the weather forecast promised a sunny and warm weekend. Well, after several weeks of rain, grey skies and temperatures from 13 to 18°C here in Western Europe, it's about time IMO.

Let's just hope the weather will stay like that for a couple of days .

Ja, es ist Freitag... und der Wetterdienst hat uns sogar ein sonniges und warmes Wochenende versprochen. Nun, nachdem wir hier in Westeuropa einige Wochen Regen, graue Himmel und Temperaturen zwischen 13 und 18°C aushalten mussten, wird es auch so langsam Zeit dafür.

Hoffen wir einmal, dass das Wetter für ein paar Tage so bleiben wird .

Geotagging of my images completed! Since I have no device for logging GPS data, I had to do this manually. Going out for a beer (ot two) now.

Pfuh... most of my pictures are now uploaded. Still fixing/updating tags. One thing I noticed is a problem with document manager: if you double-click a picture to bring up the editor for title, descr., tags... it doesn't parse the dates correctly (browser: FF 2.0.0.4 EN) so it might be a bit dangerous to use it

Next step will be completing the geotags ;-)

After flickr ran mad with their filters and censorship stuff, it was time to move. Seems that I found a lovely new home.

I'm always glad when people leave a comment to my pictures and I invite you to do so. It really doesn't matter if they are written in French, German or English.
