you usually subscribe to the rss feeds of users whose pictures i'm interested in. that way, you'll see all of their pictures.

I got a reply from the system administration:

* Groups : coming soon (2/3 weeks hopefully)
* More docs from your network (friends, family, contacts) : today or tomorrow.
