Aref Nammari (goplayer) says:
Just amazing!!!!!!!!!! The level of ignorance is just astounding. No surprise that these people swallow the lies that they are fed everyday. The sad thing is that this is that those are the citizens of the country that likes to think of itself as the leader of the world. What a shame and a sad statement about the education system, media and general attitude prevalent in the US.

JoJo replies:
What is a "amazing" is that people can watch this 5 minute clip and come to the conclusion that this is the mentality of the majority of Americans. I can assure you it is not.

I can go into any country in the world and interview a number of people with such questions and then come up with a handful of ignorant answers, edit out the correct ones and the end result being a video like this. Anything can be spun to try and make people believe what they want them to believe.

look agreed there are some ignorant people in this country...no doubt...but really come on...
I totally agree with JoJo has said above...you could film and edit something like this in any
country in the world.

hey I've no problem laughing it up about this video...but what isn't funny is the way it is presented here...to purposely insult "all" Americans....especially Aref"s comment up there...
why??? why be insulting and making such broad over generalizations????
To me THAT is THE most ignorant way of thinking that exists!

sure, you could film something like this in every country on every continent, even here in europe. so don't take it to serious. It's funny, nothing more... ;o)

There is nothing Funny when you try to depict us as a Nation as being inept. They fail to show the ones who answer the questions correctly. I do believe that there are people that couldn't answer these questions. Where is Sri Lanka? Hell I'd even get that wrong, But for the most part this is the minority. The Majority would know the answers to 90% of these questions.

Hmm... Isn't it so, that this simply does not let the Americans feel as if they were the best, and that is why you, guys, start boiling here. Other nations (especially those dubbed "small") tend to do some work and improve their situations after events like this. The big nations (or their representatives) turn to look for the offenders who took the liberty to disclose something like this...

Anyway. Sure I cannot answer correctly 3 out of 10 questions about the geography of the U.S. And in case someone would point that out, I would admit and promise to learn harder... I believe that is the right attitude.
