La parlamento de la kantono Neuchâtel, unu el la 26 kantonoj de Svislando, akceptis la 18-an de februaro 2009 mocion "Valorigi esperanton" per 60 poraj voĉoj kontraŭ 41.
La mocio estis deponita de Alain Bringolf, kiu pretigis ĝin en kunlaboro kun Mireille Grosjean. Alain Bringolf ne estas mem esperantisto, sed bone konas delonge Claude Gacond, tre aktiva esperantisto en La Chaŭ-de-Fonds, kadre de Kultura Centro Esperantista dum multaj jaroj, kaj nuntempe en CDELI.
