what is your favorite word? sometimes we have different favorites in different languages, but me i love the words "among" and "beyond" in any language. actually don't know them in many... in german it is "zwischen" (which also means between) and "jenseits". am actually quite partial to "jenseits"... in french it is "parmi" and "au-delà"... which is closely connected to my favorite time of day, twilight. i love the word too. in german even more "zwielicht" but also "dämmerung"... pure poesie.…

Rules: Once you've been tagged, you are supposed to write a note with 23 random things, facts, habits, or goals about you. At the end, choose 6 people to be tagged. You have to tag the person who tagged you. If I tagged you, it's because I want to know more about you. (To do this, go to “notes” under tabs on your profile page, paste these instructions in the body of the note, type your 23 random things, tag 6 people (in the right hand corner of the app) then click publish.) 1. i sang b…

today my father's urn will be burried in an unmarked grave beneath a hazelnut tree. i cannot be there but i don't wish to be. why lock the ashes inside a casket where it cannot rejoin the earth? i only hope that his soul has long escaped his earthly remains and can fly freely to distant universes... i kiss you goodbye my love

a while ago i wrote a story called "tapestries" when i still lived in california and it is now very ominous to me because there had been a part missing that i only finished whilst back in europe. this part describes a daughter releasing her father's soul which had been stranded here on earth. at the time my father was still alive of course but now i am getting this sensation that it is exactly my task as i had described in my story... last night my friend selina told me a myth about a firebir…

today's tarot card: "The High Priestess is the mysterious one and counterpart to the Magician. She symbolizes all that we are unable to perceive or comprehend, as she travels in dimensions that we can only imagine exist. She is able to uncover the infinite potential that exists within all humans. Her patience is perhaps her greatest virtue." is the one i draw most often... i need to get my mind around the idea that patience could be my greatest virtue too... and to uncover the infinite pot…

...pours, as the saying goes. so what did i do after i wrote last night's blog about to go out on a girls' night in ? i drop my laptop on the floor. une catastrophe. the usb cable that connects my camera to the computer got stuck in the chair and made me lose my grip as i was carrying it back to my room. the battery fell out. so i pushed it back in, flipped it around, pressed the power button and.... nothing. losing my grip. i've been meaning to lose my computer, once i left it on the…

silly me. must have left my rose colored ring on the old garden table in grandmother's apple orchard. and though it has now come upon us the hour of the sun's descent when all the wasps gather inside the rotten apple caverns on the ground i must run quickly through the garden gate with the setting sunrays blinding my eyes. the sweet scent of ripe fruits greets me and i hop from grassy island to grassy island, by a mere miracle avoiding the violent stings from the hungry insects. and amongst the…
