I have just reopened my photo site (www.madphotoworld.com) and already i have sold a couple of prints :)
The larges print i have ever done will be at 106cm x 65cm. Its going to get delivered during this week, so im pretty excited. Its two copies and they are going to be featured in Copenhagen and in True, a little town outside Aarhus.
The site, MadPhotoWorld, is build around the blog system, moveable type. Everything is changed so it supports a photoblog with emphasis on photo and i have build it in a way so i can upgrade when a new version of movable type available.
So everything is really going good and im really, really happy :)(

I really really really like your new site and LOVE the HDRI's ... Grats on the sales, how do you get them printed? Can we get a sample image of one of your creations on a wall ??

Is that Ajax you're using for the loading of the photos? It's snazzy. :)

I am using www.xprint.dk to print them and hopefully by Wednesday they will have sent me a sample before the final print. Also i have sent 4 shots for test printing to them. Ill get them back in a 30cm x 20cm, just for seeing how they look.
As soon as the finals arrive and they're hanging on a wall i do a HDRI of them :)
Moveable type is great (just upgraded to version 4.1) i chose it because it would (out of the box) run the production site even if the database was down. I know you can install "cache" stuff on wordpress to get the same functionality, but moveable type just fitted me better.
I actually installed moveable type and then removed every all the templates and then rebuilt from the ground up. It was pretty easy when i finally figured out all the tags ;)
Still missing the "archive" function, so im doing some perl code and tags to get that up and running.
No it not ajax for the loading, its just a simple setOpacity script :)
