how much more?!

scheisse!!!!!!!!
scheisse!!!!!!!!

I am wondering if there is ANYTHING that may stop this fellah from selling democratic rights of German citizens to whomever he fancies?! Isn't there anything that would stop him from pushing more bullshit into our legislation?!

I say give the f***er a new toy, a knitting set, a matrix construct to jackin and play or whatever else is needed to stop him from performing his private little war on terrorism and his accumulated vengeance against everyone in this country!!

the final move is ante portas

After several days of intense checking and trying, I've made up my mind last night and bought a pro account here at Ipernity. I definitely like its more communication oriented structure more than the rather photograph searching customers oriented archive of flickr. And the multilingual environment is lovely too, a great step into the direction of breaking dominion of English as a must-be mean of communication, even if I personally tend to use it to embrace more people into my circle of contacts. But it's good to see that everyone may communicate as they see fit!

I am still wondering which migrating method would be the best to move totally in, but right now I am tempted to continue just choosing images from my former flickr account to add them slowly but steadily to this new one here at Ipernity, all the while I finished a complete backup of all things flickr last night.

So, in words of a certain movie I love: Door's open, bed's made. Welcome home.

organizing "pseudo-groups" in the meantime: "THE FUTURE IS NOW"

Alright, since the creation of the long anticipated "group function" is still pending, I will just pick up the existing idea of "pseudo-groups" created within people's blogs or mail, as for instance practiced by Manuel Diumenjó.

My suggestion for a subject, I am interested in and disposing of lots of material:

THE FUTURE IS NOW

So if you have any image to offer which shows the now, but makes us think of futurism, science fiction or anything alike, please share it here! Please use the medium size HTML code to paste it in this topic!

Let me make a start with this image:

Train to or from the future

third pseudo-group of mine: URBAN ENCOUNTERS OF THE 3rd KIND ;)

well, you know, those encounters with perfect strangers, where you either wonder what the heck those are about to do or you are intrigued about something around them ... keep them coming please :)

starting with a first example:

next pseudogroup: Urban nightscapes

easy to understood, a subject which is pretty common and almost everyone should have something to contribute, right?!

As always, I shall kick it off:

The Berlin Sonycenter access by night:

Sonycenter entrance by night

and the House of the Cultures of the World during the days of Brazilian Copa da Cultura:

Civilization has got me back ;)

After a week of vacation in the German region of Southern Thuringia I am back to business in Berlin, still having trouble letting go. It was a fabulous time of silence, endless walks and a bit of climbing too, visits to valleys with protected flora and filling our stomaches with berries and mushrooms found on our way through the woods. Simply a wonderful break from busy Berlin!

odd days, odd thoughts

It's strange to start a "normal monday" after a week off and away from home, very odd indeed. I walk around my own "halls" feeling a bit like a stranger and can't get myself to engage in anything sense-making ;) The mind is still roaming in far away Thuringia and its meadows and woods, while my feet

way too much coffee last night
way too much coffee last night

are trying to stand firmly underneath my desk :p Odd state of mind and body, as I said.

Cold rain and strong winds are punishing my windows from the outside and it might be a nice consolation thinking of the comfort of my home under these weather constellations instead of walking through the forest, wet like a dog. And still, the mind has trouble letting go ...

Often, those odd days turn out to be highly creative ones, strangely enough, so who knows. And I seem to see a beam of sunlight through my shades now. We might even get a faint glimpse of summer. Alright, so off to brew more fresh coffee and let's get this odd day started!
