I moved here from Flickr (Yahoo) because i'm sick and tired of their filtering and censorship policies

Currently most of my other photos are still on Flickr:

- My Flickr PhotoStream

- My Flickr Sets

I'll be transfering more photos here, especially those censored by Flickr.

I was a bit pissed by their reactions too. But I´ve decided to stay to keep the contacts. But the main activity in future will be located here. I´ve made my decision after I saw the great features here at ipernity! Ipernity is more than just a photo-platform.

I joined up here an hour ago... I have left my stuff on flickr for now but not posted anything but a few protest pics (that actually made it onto explore!!!) since all the crap started. More than the actual "censorship" it is the yahoo / flickr attitude that finished it for me. The latest "official" posts in the forum are saying they will delete (not censor!!) any posts that are critical of flickr staff - can you believe that, what are those guys on? Anyway enough of the past, i love this site, it is going to be fun...

Same here, from Flickr.

I came to find an alternative and now that I've been using Ipernity for a few days, I think it's all for the best. I like the site and think it will keep on evolving.

See you around !

Same here. I got sick of the SAME people putting the SAME photo up for 365 days of their face and getting 45 comments a day. Come on! This place seems very technologically advanced and everyone is friendlier and intimate. I find and add flickr rebels almost on a daily basis.
