And now for something completely different...

On January 1st, a new group was born, known as "for a better world". It was created to help non-profit organisations get good photographic material for free - of course, mentioning the credits. The idea behind this: lots of people on Ipernity make good photographs, but never go beyond Ipernity. It's such a pity, because lots of photos are really excellent. And, also professional photographers might want to share a photo for a good cause. For more information, see: For a better world. Everybody's invited!

Dany suggested to write about your experience on Ipernity, when celebrating 10.000 or 20.000 visitors. Well, my title is "Beyond photography", because on Ipernity, i discovered you can do much more with photographs than just frame them! In the group mpph (WE ARE BORG), we have weekly contests, the mystery macro game, we share mad comments, ... One doesn't have to be dead serious all of the time, do we?

Another groups with games and interesting discussions is i-central, and the game "pimp my photo" on Jochen's blog.

I'm very glad to have met mad friends here, hopping friends, Esperanto-friends, people from countries all over the world. Thanx for being here!
