There is a distinct pensiveness to it more than sheer melancholy. It's sort of relieving, soothing even. One feels as though one just had to close one's eyes and drift far from the sound and the fury of this mad world... Oooops, makes me crudely lyrical. Now now... :)
Leonora has replied to AshesI agree totally : it's not pathetically wrenching; it's subtle and moving with a tinge of serenity at times and waves of turmoil ..To me it's like trying to grasp at the pain and tame it.
I can relate to it.
It really stirs the senses :-)
