I am a sucka for Charlie Brown cartoons and I came across this specific one. I being so psychological minded, I thought how interesting it is to project one's inabilities. It is like this cognitive behavioral therapy to put him to face his fear and decrease his anxiety about himself. The fact that they mention emotional functioning, it makes one feel that everything we do is based on our emotions about it. We react due to the perception of realization about what we will expect or not able to accomplish. In this footage, I think that Charlie Brown is seeking the understanding to achieve but Lucy is so kindly being manipulative in her interventions. However I like the ending of how she shows his emotions and determination. To state that Charlie Brown tries very hard but yet he is overly focused on his emotions about his inability to feeling "able."
