Me too Dodo. There is no such thing any more. We are constantly being censored, we can't say what we think without being labelled something terrible, or even in the worst case scenario, being put in prison for trying to speak out against something that is terribly wrong. I do actually despair of this country, and what it has become. :-(

Funny you'd say this (what has happened to this once green & pleasant land?). A long-time friend on Flickr has just written to me with roughly the same question. I, myself, often ponder this. I came to Britain half in love with it. I will never leave it, in disgust, merely because I'm stuck here. On the one hand the most mealy-mouthed, hypocritical, mawkish political correctness, on the other rabid xenophobia, rank racism and misogyny on the up & up. Hysterical Brexiteers screaming about regaining "our sovereignty" here, and a nearly total unwillingness to discuss the fact that we are a colony of the US there.
