Hey everyone,

I´ll be traveling in Canada (BC & Toronto area) in August and September`09 and will be using the Hospitaliy Club - www.hospitalityclub.org . I like very much the idea of the hopsitality club because it allows me to step into a culture rather than just viewing it. So far, I´ve had only good experiences and have been welcoming and staying with other people quite a few times over the last few years.

On this trip to Canada it would be nice not only to meet HC members but also people from Ipernity who might as well like to share the idea of the HC and aside from that also introduce me to some of their favourite places... I´m sure this would provide some great motifs ;)...

I´m off for a few weeks, spending some time in Canada. Thanx for stopping by at my site and leaving so many nice comments :-)

Waterfalls at Tamhini 2

7 weeks! And we haven´t set a single foot out of the city. Actually we have not even seen most of the city. It´s strange, on the one hand every day seems to last forever, but on the other the weekends just seem to flash by.

Thanks to Gauri we got to spend a day in the mountains around Tamhini. A great place during monsoon season… we actually visited the wettest spot of Maharashtra and got a glimpse of the Plus Valley just before the clouds went in again and covered the valley completely. …Getting out of the car at the first stop was an awesome feeling – the air was clean and fresh and the nature was bathing in all different shades of green – something I had really missed.

Seeing the Indians going crazy about that weather, performing some kind of “raindance” ;) and going under the waterfalls…and ourselves getting completely wet was a fun experience…! Altogether a great day out of the daily routine.

Sorry guys that my blog is still empty...There´s lots to say about India but I´m still kinda sick, not feeling too well, I´ll update in a few days.
