i received the following comment on my photoblog about my engagement here at ipernity - hm, what's your opinion about this?
I know that Flickr made a temporary mistake with regard to German users, but I feel you are overreacting. Flickr is an international community while ipernity is (and at best will be) an European backwater copycat, even if its policies are more flexible and its feature slightly better than Flickr. The game internationally is played by Yahoo, Microsoft and Google, or whoever they decide to acquire 
I am pretty sure Yahoo will revise their policies in due time - it just takes a while in a big company, esp. given that they recently changed their CEO and have bigger fish to fry
