great photos from my contacts / 30-06-2007: opus104 - without title

Saturday June 30, 2007 at 05:53PM

this seems to be a roof of a modern building - undoubtedly by some famous architect - the dominating color of the photo is blue, in different shades - at first sight the composition looks like an abstract painting - but if one looks closer, one can see that it's not - the building itself is like a blue flame coldly lit - it reaches into a blue sky - it seems to be taken in the early evening, but one can see no shadows on the edifice - i presume, opus104 did extensive finishing to present this monochrome masterpiece - unfortunately it seems sort of cut off at the bottom (the only little fault i can see), but undoubtedly there were parts of the building which do not fit into this composition
it is a wonderful photo
