Oh well all good things come to an end and it was a very good thing having Mickey here. I've laughed every day since he'd been here and it was so lovely just sharing moments and time together. We had a great time exploring places, and he was very understanding about my limitations to walking etc.

I just wanted to say that I really wish we lived closer but we don't and that's that. However if I ever get my own car [which at the moment is on the 'to get' list underneath 'paint house', 'sort out garden']!! then I'm going to go and visit him - I want to see the Lake District again. It's such a beautiful place.

This was Boo's chair and so when he was sitting on it - she decided that she'd sit on him instead. In reality she was his shadow and purred every time she saw him. How sweet.........

We got to the train station early only to find that the Internet time tables for trains was wrong!! It said that all trains left at 4 minutes passed the hour, whereas it was really 43 minutes before the hour!! We got to the station at 44 minutes before the hour just in time to see the train leaving the station. Great. That meant waiting for another hour, still that was nice having another hour to chat......

At last the train came and he had to get to it before the hordes got on - Barnstaple is a terminus so the train empties completely, but there were many people waiting to fill it up. It's only a small train - only two carriages, so it can fill up quickly.

He is actually waving at me - I don't see any rude signals do you? So until another year, Mickey, thanks for a wonderful time. I know it was your holiday but it was a wonderful holiday for me. I so enjoyed having you here.
