Well Mandi arrived back yesterday - really just to spend a couple of days with me before she flies out to Turkey for 5 weeks, but also to leave me the car for the time she's away. That's great because Mickey is hoping to come for a few days and I'll be able to drive us to see Dartmoor which is somewhere he's wanted to visit for some time. It's a wonderful place and I'm really looking forward to seeing it again - it's been a while. It's only about 40 miles but being without a car - it might as well be 400 miles.

Anyway she arrived yesterday to bring the car, and she told me that her best friend is also going with her on holiday for 5 days. I did worry as it's been over 3 months since Mandi and Dogan have seen each other and do they actually want a gooseberry in the way? LOL Seeing as how she's driving Mandi to the airport, paying for her duty free goods and also picking her up from the airport at 2am when she comes back- that's not a bad trade eh? Besides Dogan is working every day and she'll need some help to change the furniture around in her new home!!! She'll go for a long walk if Mandi and Dogan need some privacy....... LOL

Anyway we went shopping as we do, and then came home and I was really tired when we got back. Still I did manage to take some photos of the flowers as they have grown since I last took some pictures..........

These are the wild flowers I've got coming up in the larger pots - they're going to have some poppies soon too..........

This is another wild flower, you might remember them from last year - Loose Strife which is cropping up all over the place - a lovely bright flower and being tall, it's a good architectural plant............

This is my new salvias - they are a wonderful bright colour and they really make a lovely bright splash.......

The petunias and stocks are coming along wonderfully............

I bought these fuschias as tiny plants about 5 weeks ago and had no idea how prolific they would be....................

Aren't these just adorable flowers? They remind me of ballerinas tutus. So frilly and gorgeous. There are loads of unwrapped joys in all the buds here - can't wait to see more........

Okay that's about it - I'm getting ready for my last night with Mandi because she won't be back for nearly 6 weeks. She'll be skyping me every day though - showing me how brown she is getting and also talking to her and Dogan. Not that I'll be jealous or anything - LOL. Apparently it's close to 40C [110F] so I'm quite happy to be here in the 21F [72F].
