Today being Easter Sunday has brought the cold wind and the rain with it. Such a difference from the recent days, but the rain is a welcome visitor - it saves me from having to water my pots and the newly sown seeds.

Yesterday was a much nicer sort of day, even though it wasn't warm, at least the sun shone for most of it. I took advantage of the sunshine and inspected my driveway.

This is at the top corner of the middle part of the driveway, and you can see even the middle bit of the driveway is teeming with colour............

Bluebells are growing against the trunk of the old apple tree that had been sorted out a few months ago...........

As you can see there are a lot of colours and flowers in this part of my garden... I wonder what it's like in the parts of my garden that I can't access and it's been left to its own devices..............

Looking down the bottom of the driveway and you can see that there are lots of bluebells now coming up down the sides and the gorgeous gorse bush is poking its head over the fence. The trees on the left hand side are pale lilac trees so soon it'll be a lovely sight...........

On my way back I noticed some wild grasses with these lovely flowers on them - not seen them before, so maybe the last winter and summer have blown new seeds around here.............

Returning back towards the house I saw that the old apple tree is getting laden with new blossom. Since the old sycamore tree was cut down a few months ago, this tree has certainly come into its own. So hopefully there'll be some good apples later on in the year..........

There was another bush with these strange flowers on them. I do remember this plant, and if I'm right, when it finishes flowering, the wind willl set all those little bits free and it's like a dust cloud when they leave the bush.............

A new tulip has opened up in the driveway pots and I was really pleased to see the strange tips to the petals......

I have a lovely flowering cherry blossom in a pot at the part of the drive nearer my front door and talking to Fred the Shed, we have agreed to re-plant it in the flower bed where it can really spread its branches and it'll be a gorgeous display...........

This is where it is at the moment - with a view towards the top lawn, I have to decide do I want the tree planted in the front driveway or else in the lawn flowerbeds ......... decisions, decisions...................

I hope everyone is enjoying a lovely peaceful Easter time. Not too sick from all the chocolates......... haven't eaten mine yet. Speak soon..............
